LEARN HOW TO PREPARE THE SUPPORTING MATERIALS

 

IN THIS GUIDE YOU WILL LEARN : HOW TO PREPARE THE SUPPORT MATERIALS (FOR EXAMPLE A WALL) IN ORDER TO APPLY THE PAINT THAT YOU HAVE CHOSEN.

 

  1. RASTUK PUTTY POWDER

  2. ACRYLIC INSULATION

  3. COLOURED PRIMER

  4. SAND PAPER 120-150

  5. TROWEL

  6. PAINT BRUSH

  7. MIXING STICK

 

All these products are available from our stores.

 

 

PROCEDURE

 

  1. Make sure that the wall is dry and well prepared. New walls should be plastered at least 60 days before.

  1. Eliminate loose and disconnected parts. Check if there are cracks, if so, use Rastuk putty powder.

        If the cracks are spider- web shaped, then use Rastuk putty paste.

  1. Smooth with 120-150 sand paper. Then wait 24 hours.

  1. Isolate the wall with FIXATIVE INSULATION diluted to 400% with water. Then wait about 8 hours.

  1. Apply THIN PRIMER diluted to 20% with water, with a roller or brush, until surface is completely covered.

  1. Wait 24 hours for complete drying

 

 

N.B. For the preparation do not use calcium-based plasters. If the surfaces have already been prepared with calcium-based plaster, smooth down again and apply insulating fixative.
